I haven’t paid much attention to Datarock since their self-titled debut album in 2005, with tracks like ‘Computer Camp Love’ and ‘Fa-Fa-Fa’. While watching a live performance from Citizen Sex, a new addition to Melbourne’s music scene, I stumbled across a clip of them playing a house party with none other than Datarock. Realising that I didn’t actually know what they looked liked, I remembered that they weren’t too big on showing their faces in those days, performing in red jumpsuits and sunglasses.

The crowd surfing at 6:12 is amazing, as is the asian dude at the front who i’m pretty sure just had the night of his life.

I can almost taste the Melbourne Bitter in this clip. Thank god it’s friday.
